becentsable blog
There is a good article on a new blogsite that I just found called becentsable.blogspot.com. It has great information about how to reduce product waste. I buy less produce so that I don't throw any away, but this article also adresses freezing some of it, etc. to reduce waste. With gardens and good prices on produce this is good information. Check out this blog too, it had some fantastic information on saving money. Thanks Janay

zoo train
I learned something new at the zoo today that people may or may not know. The train conductor told me that if you ride the max to the zoo, you will get free train passes. So, today I payed $4.50 a person for the train and had to drive there fighting traffic and finding a parking spot. If I went on the Max it would have been $4.75 for each adult and I am not sure what it would have been for my girls, but they would have had a ride on Max and a ride on the train. Hope this makes sense.
